About This Class

Our callisthenics classes encapsulate a group of exercises that include a variety of gross and acute motor movements, thus in all essence body-weight training. They increase body strength, fitness and flexibility through movements such as pulling or pushing yourself up, bending, jumping, or swinging and using only body weight for resistance. They are typically conducted alongside stretches and when trained consistently, callisthenics will enhance muscular and anaerobic conditioning as well as improve psychomotor skills like balance, agility and coordination.
